Chippewa
River Vacation Home, furnished, year-round modern vacation rental home
with screened-in
porch located on the lower Chippewa River in Ella Wisconsin. Home
sleeps
six-to-seven persons with tent camping possibilities for several
children.
The vacation home consists of kitchen, family-den room with pull-out
couch,
bathroom with shower, living room with cable TV and DVD player, 2
bedrooms upstairs, and a screened-in porch with table and chairs for
evening get-togethers. This rental home also has a washer and dryer
within the
premises.
This is one of our guest homes, which
means the home is
complete like your home. Everything is furnished except the
food. Pots, pans, spices, dishes,
glasses, sheets, towels, blankets, shampoo,
books, field guides are all there. Our
intent is that you bring some food and enjoy the the country
and the outdoors in particular.

On the
farm,
you
can find the cow herd and check on mamas and babies. Check
out the corn crop and the alfaflfa fields. Take
a hike through the woods. You'll see trees of course, but if you're
quiet
and observant, you will also find birds , butterflies, small animals,
deer, forest plants; turn an old log over and find a whole comunity of
activity. climb to the lookouts and have some breath taking
views of
the lower chippewa river valley.

The
Chippewa River is just across the road. Morsbach's
SHOO-FLY Landing
at
Ella, a
boat and
canoe launch area, is 1/4
mile north of the residence
and is used
for canoe trips, boating, wading and fishing. The nine mile float from
Shoo-Fly landing to the hwy 35 landing is a slow relaxing trip through
an untouched natural forest. An afternoon adventure that's hard
to duplicate and easy to enjoy.

Slightly
south of the south vacation home is a beautiful private sandbar in the Chippewa River we use
for sunning, fishing, swimming, picnicing and fun. The
pool at the right is a spring feed swimming hole, decidedly
cooler
than the Chippewa River water. A relaxing vacation spot to kick back
for a lazy
afternoon of finding scats and tracks and soaking up the sun.
The property is within an easy drive to local places, towns,
lakes, parks and trails, and is within a 90-minute ride to
the
Minneapolis and St. Paul area.
IT RENTS FOR $650 A WEEK OR $300 FOR A WEEKEND PLUS A $45 CLEANING FEE.
The home is at Ella Wisconsin, a
small stop on County Highway N between Durand and Pepin.

My neighbor accross the Chippewa River and south and
east to the Mississippi River is the
Tiffany
Wildlife Area which is 13,500 acres of an absolutely
natural forest with some walking trails
